Meet Bruce E. Carter, DMD, PC
Dr. Bruce Carter has been practicing dentistry since 1985 and has extensive experience and training. He’s developed a reputation as a  dentist that gives every patient one-on-one attention and thorough, caring dental treatment.
Dr. Carter graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He completed the Cosmetic Dentistry Continuum Level II at the LSU School of Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, where he has accomplished over 500 hours of continuing education and passed the fellowship examination. Dr. Carter has also taken numerous courses on advanced dental restorative procedures, implant dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry, as well as hands-on courses concerning removable partial dentures and full dentures (including implant-retained dentures).
Dr. Carter has also finished level six of the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and is an alumnus of the Institute. The Pankey Institute has given him an in-depth knowledge of the restoration of complex dental problems. This post-graduate education, in addition to hundreds of hours of further education at other facilities, allows our office to provide the very latest in oral care.

Meet Our Dental Team
 Whether you’re a new patient or a long-time client, we’re always happy to see you here. We’re dedicated to making your dental experience comfortable. Our dental team is friendly and professional, and they always take the time to explain dental options and treatments with as much detail as you request.
Our in-depth experience and skill is the result of many years of hands-on experience. Members of our team hold the proper licensure where needed, and attend the Hinman Dental Meeting in Atlanta each year for the latest information in dentistry. Dr. Carter and his staff also attend the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry meeting annually.
Our dental team is comprised of individuals with a high level of integrity that always treat you with the respect and consideration you deserve.

Karen Bearchell, Office Manager—Karen has been the Office Manager for Dr. Carter for the past six years. Prior to that position, she was responsible for accounts payables and receivables. She has enjoyed the challenge and feels blessed to work with such an outstanding team of people.

Rhonda Warner, Dental Hygienist—Rhonda graduated from DeKalb Community College in 1981 as a Dental Hygienist. She spent the first nine years of her career working for a periodontist (gum disease specialist). She came to work for Dr. Carter in 1990. She enjoys the high level of dentistry Dr. Carter strives for and the fact that he keeps up with all the modern equipment and techniques through continuing education.

Erin McMahon, Dental Assistant—Erin is originally from Oswego, NY and moved to the Atlanta area in January 2003. She began dental assisting in 1994, when she attended The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dentistry in a Team Enhancement course. She also earned her National Certification in Dental Assisting and went on to pursue her New York State License for Dental Assisting. She has been with Dr. Carter since October 2003 and is happy to be working in an office that embraces the Pankey philosophy.

Valerie, Dental Assistant – Valerie has been with Dr. Carter for two years and has had many years of experience as a dental assistant. She is certified with expanded duties in the State of Georgia.

Stephanie Dyer, Dental Assistant—Stephanie has been a dental assistant for seven years – five of those years with Dr. Carter. She loves what she does and finds it challenging as well as rewarding.

Shannon, Dental Hygienist – Shannon graduated from DeKalb Community College in 1995 as a dental hygienist. “I’ve been working with Dr. Carter for a short period of time but love my job and the wonderful staff that I work with. I find my job very challenging as well as rewarding and admire Dr. Carter’s strive for excellence.”
